About Time for an Alien Jolt: The Darkest Hour 2011

Time to celebrate Christmas with a little more oomph than ever before! That is if you go ahead and check out the upcoming motion picture, The Darkest Hour which is scheduled to hit theaters on December 25, 2011. Well, if you have been wondering, in the past, Close Encounters, ET, Super 8, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Attack the Block, District 9. They were all marvelous alien apocalypse flicks. And movies about alien invasion will always have a special, snug little place in our hearts, no matter how romantic comedies and fanged romance rule tinsel town this time around. And perhaps the producers really have our penchants f alien invasions in mind when they made the show, and we are about to welcome The Darkest Hour in no time.

Established art director and film visionary Chris Gorak brings to alien apocalypse fanatics The Darkest Hour, which is his second shot at directing a feature film, tells the story of five young adults, Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Rachael Taylor, Joel Kinnaman, and Max Minghella, in this peculiar quest to defend themselves and their home planet against a squad of vicious, invisible aliens, draining Earth of its power supply in an ominous and deadly attempt t take over the whole world. This one’s a traditional story, but this is one that has been consistently thrilled so many of us since H.G. Wells penned on War of the Worlds. Check out the very invigorating images from the film. The Darkest Hour opens on Christmas day

New Year’s Eve: A Charming Review for a Dumb Story Line

You’ve got to be kidding me Hollywood! But there are times, watching a wreck of a movie and enjoying the film for more than an hour can be very embarrassing. That’s what you get when you see how New Year’s Eve made its way to fame. As you may recall, the year-end blockbuster has conquered United States on December 9, 2011. This is the too-faced comedy of all sorts which wrecked the rest of Fandango Galaxy cinema in Carson City. As you remember, the movie is plagued with an all-star cast, from Hilary Swank to Robert de Niro. And even if the film is entirely sheer twaddle, director Gary Marshall keeps his head on the clouds. Of course he should, he produced the same move the other year, Valentine’s Day? Anyone?
And of course, everybody loves a good movie review so here we go! So bottom line of the film are eight somewhat not related people, who are facing personal problems. For instance, spokesperson got a little awry about the Time Square ball which got stuck halfway up the pole. De Niro’s glitch is that he’s on his death bed but is dying to see the ball descend one more time. Halle Berry is De Niro’s nurse who conspired to let him have his dying wish?
And Michelle Pfeiffer plays as a recording company secretary with a list of things including quitting her own job. Bike messenger Zac Efron helps her with motor bike rides and swinging her from aerial ropes before he kisses her as she protests she's too old for him.
Jon Bon Jovi on the other hand spills and sings his heart out loud to Katherine Heigl’s character whom he stood up last New Year’s eve. . And Josh Duhamel in black tie has to give a speech at a swank party, which he does nicely giving the movie a touch of sanctimony before hooking up with Swank, who also delivers some uplifting oratory.
Berry got to purify things a bit as well with a TV chat with her man in Afghanistan, and not to forget Sarah Jessica Parker, who stands as the mother of Abigail Breslin who only wanted to celebrate 2012 with her friends, but mom’s dead-worried about her daughter’s safety with all the enormous crowd out there in Time Square.
Ashton Kutcher and Lea Michele get to get all fuzzy after being stuck in elevator; he's anti-New Year's and she's got a backup singing date on Times Square. But they make it up in the end. And to top all of it, there’s this dumb race as who will win the $25,000 prize for the first baby born  in 2012. I don’t know about you but the movie is not that blockbuster inducing as you can see, but it’s as charming and enchanting, considering it’s an all-star cast movie. Get on with the show and see the rest of New Year’s Eve, it doesn’t matter if the premiere has already passed, you still got more time!

Zoey Deschanel on Music, Christmas, and Her Newest Album

As bright-eyed brunette beauty Zooey Deschanel winds down with the busy year, including a very successful sitcom launch, some film appearances and a marvelous Christmas album as a half of She and Him, the songstress tells about how she already is in the preliminary stages of putting together the folk-pop duo’s next full-length show. see her again this time around on New Girl Season 1 Episode 10: Christmas which will be on December 20, 2011.

"I've been writing a lot," says Deschanel, "so hopefully we'll be in the studio pretty soon." Instead of diving into the proper follow-up to 2010's "Volume Two" this year, Deschanel and guitarist/producer M. Ward took a detour and decided to issue "A Very She & Him Christmas," a 12-track holiday covers album released in October on Merge Records. Since its release, the album has sold 128,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"We just do what we want, really," says Deschanel, who tracked "A Very She & Him Christmas" over a six-day span with Ward. "There's no grand plan for our career, or something. The wonderful thing is that we're on an amazing indie label that's super artist-friendly, and gives us the room to do our thing. This is just something we've been wanting to do for a long time, and actually we wanted to get one out last year, but it was too hard to get together. So we ended up getting in the studio in April and got it done."

Ever since the release of the Christmas album, She and Him have been performing “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” on Ellen and “The Christmas waltz” on The Tonight Show. The New Girl star has also picked up a Grammy nomination for Best song Written for Visual Media.

"To me, this is much more comfortable," she says. "Even though the hours are really long, it's more comfortable to me to work with a character and develop it over time… I know we have a big hiatus in the spring and summer though, so that's when I can do other projects." And don’t forget to see her around on New Girl Season 1 Episode 10: Christmas.

Blake Lively in Big Apple: Dressed Down and Cool Like a Pro

She’s stylish, she’s posh, and she’s polished and poised. What more could you say? It’s Blake Lively on downtown garb, make way! Yes, we’re talking about the Gossip Girl starlet, and don’t forget about her when you check out the next episode of Gossip Girl Season 5 Episode 12 which will hit small screens on January 23, 2012. It’s sooner than you think it is so don’t miss to check it out!

Now back to the budding fashionista. As her on-screen alter ego, it-girl Serena van der Woodsen, all of us are as used to seeing Blake Lively flaunting her garb and glamour in all manner of Lanvin, Chanel, Louboutins, or Balenciaga, like we are used to change our clothes once a day. But give her a big break, and you’ll see her dressed down not to the nines, which is still as chic as ever, and as surprising at all.

She looked effortlessly cool as she hung around in New York wearing dark blue skinny jeans, a sparkly red and black striped sweater and hooded leather jacket. It looks like she hung up her heels for the day too, instead opting for a pair of tough looking flat boots.
We especially love her ultra glitzy top – who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle in December, after all?!
While we’re sure Blake hasn’t retired from her designer threads permanently, it’s good to see her looking so laid-back and stylish. Top marks also for her natural hair and makeup, too.
Ah, this New York socialite malarkey looks like a hard life… But don’t make it so hard on your own leisure life, and check out Gossip Girl Season 5 Episode 12.

Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan Conquers Glee Come New Year!

It’s official! And we’re giddy as can be to announce to you that pop Latino artist and diva extraordinaire Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan are up for the charts to start the New Year right with Glee! And speaking of Glee, don’t worry, because we’ll be on for Glee Season 3 Episode 9:Extraordinary Merry Christmas when it airs on your favorite websites and small screens right this month on December 13, 2011. No, you’re not hearing anything wrong. It’s because everything rings true, Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan are all tangibly confirmed to join Glee for another episode in the new year. And if you still can’t believe that, just wait and ask the show’s executive music producer, Adam Anders.

"We just announced Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan for a Spanglish episode," he told Billboard.com Sunday night. "We're just starting the planning, so I don't know (which songs the pair will sing.) I wouldn't tell you anyway!"

Anders for his part did confirm this crazy, hazy mash-up with Martin’s ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca ‘ amd Estefan’s ‘Conga’, which would be one cool route for the two hit superstars. According to some of the earliest reports, Estefan will be in the most compromising role ever: Santana’s mom and Martin will be McKinley High’s newest and hottest Spanish teacher (‘scuse me, Will,) in the very next episode.

"I'm excited everyone is here together supporting this cause," said Harry Shum Jr., who was on hand with his co-stars to introduce Amber Riley's performance. "Last year I was here, but it wasn't this big of a scale. I'm so happy to see it grow over a year and bring awareness. I danced last year. We're alternating, this year Darren (Criss) is doing it and Amber's doing it, but I'll just enjoy watching."

Anders also served as the musical director for the rest of the night, working hand in hand with Adam Shankman, who also directed the entire event. Anders described his role as "selecting songs, arrangements, artists, pulling favors," but admitted that he didn't need to twist anyone's arm to be involved in Trevor.

"We thought we'd have to, but everybody wants to be part of it and help out," he said. "The amount of talent that's come out to support has been amazing."
But don’t wait for long, and don’t miss Glee Season 3 Episode 9: Extraordinary Merry Christmas.

Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol Crew Struck a Pose in Tokyo!

There’s nothing better than getting in touch with the people who admire and look up to you most. And for a simple fan, there’s nothing sort of shocking as to see your most admired and well-loved actors shows up in your locality for a dose of fans meet and greet… a total surprise! Just when you thought you knew everything about them, wait until you see Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol as it explodes with action, high-octane mission impossible stunts, and the enduring sleek-sleuthing only the one and only legendary Tom Cruise could pull off.

Anyways, let’s cut to the chase. What I wanted to blabber about is that the cast members of the hottest movie this year-end season Paula Patton and Tom Cruise himself struck poses at a promotional event for their most explosive hit film Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol back in Tokyo just this week! And just when you think Le Cruise is supposed to be dealing with his rather little bratty princess and sorry lovelife that turns to be a little bit lukewarm at this point in time, he hightails his career with kicking off on the massive rollout of the fourth installment of his Mission: Impossible franchise with a limited fan screening in Japan this Thursday, which is way ahead of its official world premiere which will be next week.

What’s with Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol anyways? Well, unless you’re a complete jerk and a killjoy yourself, everybody finds the newest motion picture a total knock off! So schedule your date night and assemble to your nearest theaters on premiere night! See you there!

Lucy Lawless Serves Up Coffee For Starship Welfare, Auckland

She may be a vindictive little ninny named Lucretia Batiatus in Spartacus, sure, but she’s an actress and a woman by heart. See more of Lucy Lawless in Spartacus: Vengeance Season 1 Episode 1 which will hit millions of small screens on January 27, 2011.
And what’s more surprising this time is that Lucy Lawless will be your bonus the moment you get tp claim your morning coffee and breakfast .
Wearing a black apron, she cheerfully asked customers: "Is there anything I can get you?".
Lawless now greets customers at Café Melba somewhere in downtown Auckland’s Vilcan Lane just yesterday in order to raise some funds for the Starship Children’s Hospital.
Celebrating 15 years this week, Café Melba has been donating to Starship for the past five years and for this week, c’mon in for your caffeine and donate 50c for every cup of coffee sold.
Lawless - who worked for about an hour yesterday - served several customers who were clearly awestruck.
Mates Grant Fife, Zach Hitchcock and Gus Pickering were about to tuck into their breakfast when they realised who had just brought their drinks.

"I didn't recognise her at first," Mr Pickering said. "I think I was a bit awestruck."
Mr Hitchcock did recognise the star: "I watch her onSpartacus."
Mr Fife said it was great to see a celebrity giving back: "I think that it's a wonderful thing she's doing - especially for a good cause like Starship."
Lawless, who is also a member of the hospital's Board of Trustees, said it was a good chance to get people involved with Starship, which was in much need of new medical technology and equipment.
"Science and medical technology is improving at an exceptional rate and right now there's a lack of technology here. This will help Starship get there," she said.
Cafe co-owner Shawn Pope said the aim was to raise at least $10,000 for Starship this year.
He said news of Lawless' arrival had brought excitement to regular customers.
Lawless said: "Melba has been helping Starship for years - I'm only too happy to come out and give them a little bit of love." Now that’s a feast of love and humanitarian concern. Just don’t miss her on Spartacus: Vengeance Season 1 Episode 1.

Up for Gays: Darren Criss Talks for AIDS Awareness

Darren Criss, who plays out-and-proud gay student Blaine Anderson on the Fox musical-comedy Glee, will appear at a Broadway fundraiser to support gay teens and AIDS research.
Criss' December 17 guest appearance in Sing Out, Raise Hope at the Starr Theater located inside the Alice Tully Hall will take place before his January Broadway debut in the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Criss recently told Variety that his work with The Trevor Project is a perfect fit.
“After gaining the incredible platform from Glee, it wasn't so much of a decision to get involved as it was an opportunity to take part,” Criss said. “I'll be honest, I'm not so much into the idea of one cause being more important than another; however, I felt that The Trevor Project was a perfect fit for my efforts. It stands for a lot of things that I believe in, as well as falls in line with much of what Glee stands for.”

Stephen Lang Speaks of Charity, Hard Work and Bad Guy in Terra Nova

It’s all about Stephen Lang, and Terra Nova Season 1 Episode 11: Within which will air on December 7, 2011. It all starts here, so beat the series when it airs on your small screens. And speaking of bad guy Stephen Lang. he was there this time on commemorating history, which was the theme of his keynote speech at Dedication Day ceremonies, which honors the 148th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
In just a simple and brief press conference, which followed shortly after his speech. , which was delivered on the Rostrum in the Soldiers National Cemetery in Gettysburg, not far from the site Lincoln spoke, the Examiner asked Lang about his opinion of the frequent, flagrant misrepresentations of historic fact by politicians and groups like the Tea Party designed to further their agendas.
“You have to be very scrupulous with your facts,” Lang, who portrayed Confederate General George Pickett in the Ron Maxwell movie, Gettysburg, and Confederate General Stonewall Jackson, in the prequel, Gods and Generals. “I think one of the reasons it is so important to teach history and teach it accurately in our schools is so we can all be fact checkers – so we can make sure that people who are quoting or revising history or using for their own political purposes that they get their facts correct so that we are not in any way being misrepresented.” Don’t be long, see what happens next on  Terra Nova Season 1 Episode 11: Within.

Justin Bieber Gains Thumbs Down for Not Knowing His Seven Continents

Dumb and dumberer. Clever laugh line, and it definitely applies to The Biebs, who claims that he’s dumber than Twitter-apple Ashton Kutcher. And speaking of Kutcher, see more of him on
Two and a Half Men Season 9 Episode 11: ALonely Landing Strip on December 6, 2011. lately, on The Late Night Show with David Letterman, Justin Bieber revealed that he’s as much as an idiot like his pal, Ashton Kutcher. It’s like the blind leading the blind for us, so check it out, we won’t be wasting time, so let’s carry on with the juciest gossip as of this moment.
The somewhat self-proclaimed dumb Bieber revealed that his cords and appeal had him flying to almost every continent. But, when Letterman tossed him a softball and asked how many continents are there, guess what, he did not answer the question as desired, you know, like seven continents?  Justin started rambling off a mix of continents and countries. Justin rifled off: “Asia, North America, South America, er, Africa, Antarctica and the North Pole. Err, Canada.
Hold on, Bieber is from Canada right? And what’s this? He does not know that Canada is but a country and not a continent?  Where does he think he is from the country of Newfoundland? This kid needs to take a bit of time off touring to start studying.
I almost thought this was a question that was asked to the young star when he was in 4th or 5th grade. making him quite the moron. With a bit of research I have discovered that ” identifying the United States and learning about continents and oceans.” is part of the first grade curriculum.
What a little retard this kid is. Don’t forget to see the next episode of Two and a Half Men Season 9 Episode 11: A Lonely Landing Strip.

Brunette Beauty Lea Michele Steps in for the Next Big Challenge: Movie!

Golden era for television means that we get to see the brightest stars in tinsel town and hear the hottest gossips about them, but still, they get to have the best of the limelight. And one of the stars who is considered to be taking baby steps to just pop out of television is Glee’s very own Lea Michele. And see her again this December 6 for Glee Season 3 Episode 8: Hold on to Sixteen. Not only is she a talented songstress, but she has definitely landed a part in Garry Marshall’s all-star ensemble drama, New Year’s Eve.
Marshall’s romantic flick picks up in modern-day New York at the brink of a new year, a time when resolutions are drafted and love is being found or wasted away. The cast includes Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank, Katherine Heigl, Sarah Jessica Parker and Zac Efron. The joke going around is that this is the movie that has every celebrity in the world appearing.
Michele’s role takes mainly on Ashton Kutcher’s character, who is also glowing on the headlines following his split with Demi Moore. The 25-year-old actress also recently revealed that she has split from her beau, the Broadway actor Theo Stockman. Although she has also been quick to state that they remain on amicable terms.
Back to Glee. For the starlet, the show has been a stepping stone, like an institution. Not to mention the fact that the songs and albums they made had become bestsellers worldwide. Indeed, the London leg of the show this past summer made much out of the fact that songs sung by the motley crew of McKinley High School students have had more singles in the top 100 of the American Billboard chart than Elvis Presley, who previously held the record with 108 singles.
Of course, the major caveat is that the Glee cast only record cover versions. Michele specialises in the songs of a fellow New Yorker, Barbra Streisand. Given that the part of Berry was written for the Bronx-born actress, it's perhaps no surprise that Michele admits she and Rachel have many similar personality traits.
"I think we share more characteristics with our on-screen roles than we are willing to admit sometimes. I am a big Streisand fan, I come from Broadway and I love performing on stage, very similar to Rachel," she state. "But not only that, I understand her drive. If you watch the show, and the last two episodes of Season 2, she says 'I'm going to New York and I'm going to be a performer.' And I was and am very much like that. Very just driven and on the path of knowing what I wanted to be."
Brunette beauty, that’s what we call Lea Michele. See more of her on Glee Season 3 Episode 8: Hold on to Sixteen when it’s around the corner come Christmas time.

Tassels and a Plunging Neckline Spells L-I-V-E-L-Y

There’s nothing wrong with wardrobe risk takers especially when you strut your stuff in tinsel town. And there’s definitely nothing wrong with Blake Lively stepping out twice in a week with a drop-dead stunning, and definitely modesty-threatening garbs that showed off her curves and dips. Thinking what I’m thinking? Well, the Gossip Girl Season 5 Episode 9: Rhodes to Perdition starlet is out and about turning heads in two separate events just this week, and expect to see more of Blake in more daring than ever ensembles.

To quote, she started toppling showbizlandia in a quite daring sheer Marchesa dress, with only fancy tassels to cover her modesty. Talk about that! Risque outfit number two comes in the form of a bright blue tux, with a plunging neckline that left little to the imagination. The 24-year old fashionista capsized Lady Gaga’s Workshop Opening at Barneys in New York the other night.

The décolletage speaks for it, as Miss Lively opted to wear the tux sand blouse or shirt underneath, and on account of the low-cut attire and not room for underwear, a hint of the star’s fashion tape is seen peeking out.

While it may have been difficult to be distracted from the area, another standout on Blake's bright ensemble were the lacy shoulder pads.
The feature gave the the two-piece a certain eighties feel.
Without her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds on hand, Blake instead cosied up to her Gossip Girl co-star Matthew Settle at the event.

Blake Lively will always be Blake Lively, no matter what people say. She’s just this kind of person who is as breathtaking as ever, and comes out every time with new and original ensembles that could make any budding fashionista green with envy. See her now, see her then, and se what happens next on Gossip Girl Season 5 Episode 9: Rhodes to Perdition. And before I forget, the next episode of the show will be on November 28, 2011.

Silent Killer: Walkers on the Loose, Secrets Review on The Walking Dead

The secret to a blockbuster television series? Well, revealing the secrets to a blockbuster television series! You’re still not getting it?  Well, check out what happens next on TheWalking Dead Season 2 Episode7: Pretty Much Dead already on November 27, 2011. Don’t worry, we mean to refresh your memory with the previous episodes of the show as well.  Last time, we had the aptly titled episode ‘Secrets’ which gave us an array of the darkest and most shocking revelations hitherto, the hidden truth form the survivors, which they have been keeping from one another. You have seen how Rick stumbled on morning after pills, owned by his wife, and how Dale discovered that Lori is not only pregnant but is having an affair with Shane. As for old man Hershel, he’s got a bag of bones in his closet: a barn full of walkers under their care just because the whole family does not believe that these zombies are already undead. More than anything else, don’t tell honest Glenn anything that does not qualify as public knowledge.
As for the greatest and most terrible secret ever told, Dale confronted Hershel about their little stash of zombies, and argues with the holy man that they are no longer people. Hershel then replied that his own wife and stepson are in that barn. With everything to lose, Dale tells Rick the secret, and suggests that they should reinforce the walls of the barn so the zombies wont be able to get out. It’s an act of conscience for Rick’s part, but Hershel doubts if the other members of the party are as trustworthy.
The dire alpha male and female of the band, Andrea and Shane went to the city to find the lost girl. Seriously, where on earth is Sophia anyway? More and more secrets. I’m starting to like dear old Dale, he’s a man of conviction, and he’s got keen senses. Not to mention the fact that he immediately spotted the difference in Andrea’s flushed cheeks, or doubting that Shane was responsible for Otis’ death.
So much for a great television series, trust me on this but I know you’ll be craving ahead with the next episode of the show. Can’t wait no more? Well, hear this out and look up The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode7: Pretty Much Dead.

An Actor and A Man: Mark Salling Talks of Charity, Puck, and Falling for Shelby

He’s gorgeous, and this guitar-toting, Lady A-covering 28-year old Glee star just happens to be one of the most talented actors, not to mention a part of the most popular television shows up to date. And see him once again on Glee Season 3 Episode 7: I Kissed a Girl on November 29, 2011. Most women in his age bracket and below, he’s 28 actually, think he’s all that perfect, wait ‘til you find out what the hunky music man’s got his hands full with, because this time, he’s heavily involved with the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign. And yes, he’s on the real deal!
Recently, we spoke to Salling about his work with the organization, how others who want to help can get involved, and of course, not to forget a little bit of scoop from him about the series’ Puck-Shelby-Quinn love triangle.
Technically, Child Hunger Ends Here is a campaign that is brought closer to the public by ConAgra Foods, who manufactures all household products you may find in your entire kitchen, and basically, they’re doing a campaign where people can save up their UPC codes and turn them in, because each UPC code of a ConAgra Foods product equals a whole meal for a hungry child. That’s the heart of the idea, which attracted Salling so far.
Practically keeping himself busy with Glee, he still finds it important to devote one’s free time towards helping others. ‘Being on a show like Glee is a blessing and somewhat of a platform to do what I want with it, whether it's positive or negative or nothing at all. I'm choosing to do the most I can and leave the most positive impression I can on people, and I do that with this campaign and I also do that with other wildlife rescue charities. I think everyone needs to have a little charity in their life and this ConAgra campaign makes it really easy for people to do that and it's really rewarding.’
When asked what has been the most fulfilling thing while working with the campaign, here’s what the actor said: ‘The most gratifying thing is meeting people on Twitter actually saying, 'Hey, I just registered my school, and I just turned in a bunch of UCP codes,' and I know right away that it has made a difference.
Moving on, t takes a man with the image of a bad by and the true heart of a man to portray Puck’s character, so this time, Puck will be falling for Shelby, and will try to make a family out of the situation.  There will be more numbers, more solos, more love triangles, and more Dumpsters moments to come so hang on to Glee Season 3 Episode 7: I Kissed a Girl, and we’ll be dealing with it on November 29, 2011.

For the Last Time, Demi Moore Sheds a Tear for Ashton Kutcher, Thumbs Down to Sara Leal

Most people think that Hollywood celebrities just come and go with marriage, divorce, kiss and makeup, then the cycle goes over again and again in order to refresh fame. But some things are just unforgivable. Take for instance, superstar Demi Moore. When her young husband Ashton Kutcher struck a one-night stand with Sara Leal on the night of their sixth wedding anniversary, everything turned into a whacked piece of dough, like pain she couldn’t move one with. And the incident led her to a painful decision which was announced this Thursday to call it quits. What a shame for a supposedly fruitful marriage of six years. A source that’s close to the former couple tells US Weekly. "The final straw with Sara Leal has just been too humiliating for Demi to get over,"
Allegedly, Kutcher, 33, hooked up with Leal, a San Diego party girl in the early hours of September 24 in his own hotel suite. Leal explained her side as well, and Kutcher claimed at that time, he and Moore, 49, were already at odds and separated.
A friend of hers told a source: “Moore just couldn't look at Ashton the same way and the marriage... completely unraveled, she still loves Ashton but feels he went too far and disrespected her and their marriage in a way that can't be taken back."
The glitch? Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 17, her daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis. "She wants to set an example for her daughters and this was just something she could not rationalize to them or to herself."
The “Margin Call” actress indeed tried to cope for months, engaging in counseling and heart-to heart with her friends. And, indeed, she tried with months of counseling and heart-to-hearts with friends. "She really tried everything she could to forgive him and accept his apologies, at the end of the day, the public humiliation and the example she was setting by staying in the marriage just wasn't the right thing for her."

We’re Still on for Blair and Chuck, How About You?

You have seen how Blair and Chuck dawdle with each other, but most people still are confused: are they meant for one another? Or is Gossip Girl still trying us to get breathless and wait for the mind-numbing climax? Maybe you’ll find out in Gossip Girl Season 5Episode 8: All The Pretty Sources because we are down to the eighth episode on November 11, 2011.  And you’ll never be confused no more, because we’ll get on with the controversy. So let’s get on with it, shall we?
Of course everyone knows that Blair still cares. Because as she’s rattled by Chuck’s epic apology at the end of last week’s episode, Blair is finally convinced that the new and improved Chuck is just an act , and it will be up to Queen B to make it her task to expose him and prove that he will always be the same old Chuck who is as selfish as can be. Basically, he’s just like “Chucking” with her head, and she’s starting to question if she ever made the right choice by being with Louis, who sat this episode out. Basically, Blair’s plan is just to seduce the wicked antihero in order t prove that he has not changed after all. It works, because Chuck will have to kiss her at some weird performance art party of The Big Sleep and she then slaps him, relieved to know that she has made the most right of choices. But here’s a twist! Chuck always knew what Blair was up to and kissed her to let go of everything, to help her believe that she was trying to convince herself all week, albeit shamelessly throwing herself at her ex-boyfriend. And what can I say; I’m kind of pissed off with Queen B’s decision, and Chuck gets a thumbs up who obviously still has feelings for Blair.
These people seem to have te best of both worlds: she’s the queen legend of the bunch, and he’s this dashing antihero who knows his ways so much. But why is it that they keep on ignoring and lambasting each other when clearly, and pointedly, they still have feelings for one another? Stupendous bedazzlement, but let’ just find out what happens next on Gossip girl Season 5 Episode 8: All The Pretty Sources.

Bill Condon: On Twilight, Directing, and A Bed-Splintering Honeymoon

In our so –called Twilight universe, melodrama isn’t something bad. Consider it an innate part of the expansive saga pertaining to the life of high school student Bella, who gets tangled between an immortal and fancy love triangle with a vampire named Edward and her best friend, a werewolf named Jacob Black. Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling trilogy-turned motion picture garnered close to $800 million in North America alone, and there will be more to come from around the world, as the popularity of The Twilight Saga: BreakingDawn Part 1 does not seem to falter.
For the Oscar-winning writer and director Bill Condon, who, for the record includes low-budget horror (Candyman, Farewell to the Flesh), contemporary biopics (Gods and Monsters, Kinsey), and controversial and high profile musicals like Dreamgirls, dealing with gigantic Twilight definitely sound like an appealing challenge. He got hooked on the idea of making a movie that was one part melodrama, one part horror, which definitely defines Breaking Dawn. Well, not to mention some outlandish details like an ecstatic love scene, a graphic birth, and some telepathic chitchat among werewolves among others.  For Condon directing a “Twilight” movie can be a risqué proposition. Especially when all of the directors of the motion pictures have received major scrutiny by a rabid fandom devoted only to the source material and less that receptive to even little twitches and changes to Meyer’s text. Condon, who also is currently directing the second half of Breaking Dawn, which will be due to air next year, says he is also aware of the risks that are inherent in taking on such a populist, most of the time, critically maligned series. It’s just one of the things all of us fans should expect in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.
"In some ways that was part of the fun of it," Condon said. "There is something liberating about it. Plus, I really liked the story."
The story, this time around, centers on Bella's nuptials to Edward — she wants to be a vampire like him, his condition is that they get married first — and the life-threatening pregnancy that unexpectedly results from their first bed-splintering honeymoon encounter.
And in order to prime such revered material to the big screen. Condon said that he went looking into Vincente Minnelli and Alfred Hitchcock, depending on tradition for Bella and Edward’s wedding and honeymoon, and highlighting Bella’s pregnancy which devastates her from inside out.
"She needed to look like she's dying or the story doesn't make sense," Pattinson said. "It was great that he went there."
Pattinson declares that he felt this familial kinship with Condon from the moment the director came to meet with the 25-year old actor while he was shooting the antebellum romance “Water for Elephants” back in Los Angeles.
"I had my hair cut really short, and he said, 'Oh, you should have your hair like this in the 'Twilight' movies.' I thought, 'OK, I already like you," Pattinson said with a laugh. "Especially since so many people worried about my hair. It was all they cared about. The hair and a six-pack."
Stewart too praised Condon.
"I wanted a director that I could trust enough that I could completely clear my head and know that all my preparation was going to find its way into my body," Stewart said. "I didn't feel that I was always looking over his shoulder making sure he was capturing it, or looking over his shoulder making sure he wasn't missing some aspect of the book that I knew about and he didn't. I already knew that we were on the same page."
Well, maybe we can see more of the movie than meets the eye when it happens, so save the date this Friday for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 in theaters near you.

Grimm Set Tour: A Match Made in Portland

Some people are just so lucky that they get to visit the set of one of the most talked-about television series in tinsel town. And perhaps, to make it even easier to comprehend, we’re talking about Grimm. And a few of our very credible sources were kind enough to share with us what they went through. Read the fine print, and we’re sure it will definitely take your breath away. and to think that we're down to business with the next episode of the series, that's Grimm Season 1 Episode 4: The Three Bad Wolves

Grimm stars David Giuntoli, playing the role of a cop by the name of Nick Burckhardt who finds that he’s a descendant of the Grimms – which is an ancient group of bounty hunters that hunt and protect the world from all creatures of the fantasy world, and tales of yore. To aid him is his buddy, Russell Hornsby and Eddie Munroe, played by Silas Weir Mitchell, who’s a werewolf who sticks to his self-pact never to use his powers for evil. And Nick for his part tries his best t never let those worlds, real and fantastic intersect.

You would realize by now that a tour to the set of Grimm is by far a visit to Portland, which the producers said was the best place to tell the tape. Makeup and costume were a piece of cake, as the cast and crew of the show work hard enough, not to mention the long, arduous hours it takes to put together prosthetics, real-life gore, scare, and connect fantasy to the real world. Bottom line is, it’s a police procedural drama tainted with the gift of fantasy and your favorite story book fairy tales. One of the sets includes the Bridgeport Brewery where reporters are toured through their facilities. There’s even this camera, the Alexa, used to shoot the series, and it was approved by Roger Deakins, who is the Coen brothers’ cinematographer. The cast were mellow as well, and even enjoy having a couple of drinks. Surprisingly, leading man David hadn’t been drinking. For him, it had more to do with staying on his prime, on top of his game as the star of the show. He was nothing sort of gracious and very honest, and it’s the kind of thing that keeps you close to both the guy and the work. Watch your step, and be ready for more exciting revelations we’ll have next time. but for a moment, this time, it's all about Grimm Season 1 Episode 4: The Three Bad Wolves. Tah tah!

Cheryl Cole on The X Factor: Cowell Wants Her Back?!

Somewhere in London, Simon Cowell who recently dropped Cheryl Cole as one of the judges in the US X Factor, he is now once again urging the lady back to join the ship in view of falling TRPs this time around.
Cowell got in touch with Cole two weeks ago, when judge Kelly Rowland fell ill halfway into the series and had to quit, or shall we say pull out. And even if Rowland returned to the show later, yet the ratings still continued to decline, which dropped to a mere 2.5 million viewers compared to last year. And that reminds me, we’re on to The X Factor Season 1 Episode 15: LIVE Performance Show # 3! November 16, 2011, that is.
In a dare to amp up ratings, Cowell will be flying back to UK this week for some sweet talk with the rest of the judges and contenders, to attempt and convince Cole to go back to the show.

This one’s from an insider, and according to the show-stopper, Simon has made an offer with Cole “she just can’t refuse” even if she has yet to make her decision. The alleged offer will appear as a behind-the-scenes guide for the contenders in one of the final episodes, where she will be giving advice to them all and mentor them in their performances.

And whilst Cole’s spokesman said that she is ‘over The X Factor’ and has no plans to return as of now, a credible source close to Cowell confirmed that he had been talking with her.
“The X Factor UK team and Cheryl did discuss her coming back on the weekend when Kelly was ill,” the source said. Come to think of it, Cheryl Cole might be coming back but we’re still on this week for The X Factor Season 1 Episode 15 LIVE Performance Show # 3.
“She was up for it but it didn’t quite work out – it was all very amicable.”
‘Everything is very friendly and I’m sure they will work together on something in the future, but nothing is being discussed at the moment.”

Meanwhile, friends of Cole still maintained that she will be due to meet Cowell while he returns to London in order to discuss her making a one-off comeback.
“She is thinking about it – Simon has been very generous,” the source added.

The Twilight Saga Promotion: Epic Screen Shots and Stars Speak for Themselves

Get over the fact that Kim Kardashian has had a not-so record-breaking second married life of only about 72 days. And stop wallowing on the fact that her $17 million wedding bash could have paid for your college tuition fee for more than a thousand years! Heads up Twilight Saga fans! Because we all have one thing to keep us busy these days: the oh-so famous and upcoming nuptials and union of the most sought-after vampire and human, Edward Anthony Masen Cullen and Isabella Marie Swan in      The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.
Just a few weeks until the much-awaited airing date, we’re already geared for that big day. And just last Thursday, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and hunky wolf guy Taylor Lautner introduced to all of     The Twilight Saga: BreakingDawn Part 1 fans some never-before-seen footage from the upcoming movie, and of course, they also stay tuned for a lengthy interview after the pilot debut of the clip – the core of the action which pertains around Bella’s preparations for and her wedding.
When they were asked to picture out the general feel on the set during the filming of the wedding, Stewart confessed that she’s carried away by it.
"It was very, very emotional for me," Stewart said. "I don't know about these guys."
RPatz on the other hand jumped in with “You kind of realize what the groom’s position in a wedding is, which in reality is basically a prop. You stand there in a suit, and then everyone is looking at the girl,” he said with a confident smirk.
And speaking of the girl who is also the bride, Pattinson also revealed that his female costar stole the spotlight at the filming of that particular scene, and the rest of the cast just seem to feel the warmth in the air as well.
"The wedding scene was beautiful and spectacular," Peter Facinelli has said. "It's funny, because whenever we have a big important scene on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, it rains. I was doing the baseball sequence, and it was raining. But you never see it on film," he said of the crew's movie magic. "With this wedding, it rained the whole time we shot the two scenes. But you'll never see it on film; they block out the rain. They put tarps up, and you'll never see it. But for us, it was very wet and muddy and cold."
"When I see this onscreen, it is going to feel epic,” Nicky Reed revealed in an interview back in July
"There were really beautiful elements to it," Ashley Greene added. "Like, if you took out the fact that it was so cold and just looked at it like a picture, it was picture-perfect."
