Rizzoli and Isles Expose: Harmon Dreams of Playing She-Hulk

She’s a great actress, and she’s still striking as ever, but hey, Angie Harmon from Rizzoli and Isles and the epic Law and Order, is now looking to maybe trade in her ampersands for a slash and star as the abominable She-Hulk. She Hulk it is, practically one of most challenging roles for a beautiful woman like Angie Harmon, so we'll keep you posted for more of the exciting episodes from your favorite police-and-medical-crime drama and thriller with investigators in pumps and updos. But first, watch Rizzoli and Isles Season 3 Episode 1: What Doesn't Kill You online at when the premiere episode of the television series airs on June 5, 2012.
“I have to be her,” Harmon revealed in one interview. “You don’t understand. I have to be her. It’s the best quote ever when The Hulk turns around and goes ‘I’m always angry’. I was like, Oh my goodness! I just stood standing still in the theater and literally cheered up. I did.”
And hearing the news, the present Amazing Spider Man and one time She-Hulk comics writer Dan Slott tweeted that, if ever they decided to give Harmon a shot as a TV version of the female green wonder, he would write the plot for the pilot episode for free. Okay, first of all, that may seem less likely that a vivid cameo in The Avengers 2, though, given that Harmon presently plays the role of Jane Rizzoli, one of the titular crime fighters on Rizzoli and Isles, starting on June 5 with the third season of the show. And of course, there’s nothing even more spectacular than seeing your favorite stars perform versatile roles. Roles that are neither savvy, sleazy, vindictive, but a little of everything that has to come between them. So don’t forget to keep yourselves posted with the next episode of the television series. More and more surprises to come so watch Rizzoli and Isles Season 3 online when it happens!

True Blood Gets New Blood, and Hudis Replaces Ball as Show Runner

When word got out that Alan Ball is getting out from True Blood Saga after the fifth season of the show, fanged fans began to just wonder who would be brave and confident enough to take the reins of the very intimidating and status quo relenting vampire drama series, if, hopefully, the show will still continue for a bigger sixth season. Well, according to Deadline, Mark Hudis who stands as co-executive producer to the show is currently slated for the job and would be promoted to executive producer hyphen show runner for future seasons as part of a total deal he lately signed with HBO. Don't dwell on the past, wait up for this one and watch True Blood Season 5 Episode 1: Turn! Turn! Turn! online this coming June 10, 2012.
Hudis at one time had been a member of the True Blood family for the past Seasons 4 and upcoming 5th, which will blow off your screens this coming June 10. But now that he’ll be given basically unlimited control, it will be more than interesting how his steady influence will impact the rest of the show. Throughout all the years, Hudis had a good hand in so many TV legends, like Nurse Jackie, That ‘70s Show, and the sitcom Cybill.
Here’s what Mark Hudis has to say to his former shows so to speak.

Given that Jackie works at a hospital in New York, there will always be a surplus of cases she is expected to just deal with. And while the other residents of Bon Temps are far from having their medical degrees, they still have to deal with high stakes situations, so it would really be great if Hudis could consistently remain high-powered for the show.
And yes, True Blood usually ends up becoming quite the legit blood bath for pretty Sookie and company, yet the show doesn’t entirely rely on its action-packed scenes alone. Don’t forget shirtless scenes too. True Blood’s characters are nuts and lovable, whether they’re always bad-mouthing like Tara or full of energy and sass like Lafayete. This will also help lighten the mood at times when fans really need it most, so it would be really nice if Hudis would throw in some of that comedic relief That ‘70s Show thrived into. So much for talking, keep yourselves updated with what’s hot and what’s not on True Blood! Just a few more days, we know you're running out of patience and you're quite anxious with the long wait, so don't forget to watch True Blood Season 5 Episode 1 online

Hush! A’s Still in the Picture: Don’t Sleep Well Yet!

Any news that’s quite related to the upcoming plot lines in pretty Little Liars Season 3 is definitely exciting for fans and rabid wannabes, so this juicy, if kind of short spoiler for Season 3 Episode 2: Blood is the New Black is definitely news worthy. For the second episode of the season, there will be a new message from A, which will definitely set the girls on edge.  First of all, the girls are still bugged and getting messages and threats from A. And clearly, this particularly bitchy A isn’t Mona at all, since you know, she’s kind of busy twirling her hair and maybe staring at walls thinking it’s fatal oblivion in her padded rooms at the Radley Sanitarium. So maybe, this will be a death note from someone on the A team that Mona alluded to in the Season 2 finale. Don't forget to watch Pretty Little Liars Season 3 Episode 1: It Happened That Night online when the premiere episode of the television series airs on June 5, 2012.

Many are also in the know if this message is the same one which we saw in the Canadian promotion of the show: “Mona played with dolls, I play with body parts.” But we doubt any promos would give away spoilers from the second episode just yet. Who would be sending those blood-curdling messages this time, and how would you even consider getting involved with so many controversies? It’s up to you to find out in the next episode just yet. Keep on watching!

Who do you think is still out there, sending the Little Liars creepy texts from “A”?

Game of Thrones at a Glance; Robb Stark’s Flame, and the Mad Prince of Winterfell

The last time we left the stubborn and stupid Theon Greyjoy, he was revealing the charred and battered bodies of two young boys and warning the people of Winterfell that anyone else that got in his way would just suffer the same fate as poor Bran and Rickon Stark. That’s one heck of a big, blustery talk for a brat who is holding the center of the North with just 20 men, waiting for his big sister in order to bail him out with heavy reinforcements. When Yara, who is Asha in the books, does finally show up, but without the 500 soldiers he’s expecting, but with a warning instead. But you have to flee while you still can, and she suggests, now that he killed the Starks boys and basically will have the entire North screaming for his blood when the words get out. The Greyjoys’ power is their ships, and holding a castle miles from sea is not the kind of strategy that wages and wins war. “The Prince of Winterfell” is what she calls him derisively. Every bit of news won't be as surprising as heck s watch Game of Thrones Season 2 Episode 10: Valar Morghulis online this coming June 3, 2012.
“I’ve taken Winterfell and I’ll keep Winterfell,” says Theon, never one to back down. Yara tells him a touching story about how she has almost strangled him in his crib when he was an infant because he never stopped crying.
"Don't die so far from the sea," is her best advice.
Much further up the North, Jon Snow (Harington) has been held captive by the wildings, and when he’s taken before the fearsome Lord of Bones, he’s sentenced to a quick death – until Ygritte intervenes on behalf of her former captor. Snow however couldn’t bring himself to just chop her in half when he had the chance, and now she returns the favor.
“We're even now, Jon Snow,” she says.

Hundreds of miles to the South, Snow’s half-brother Robb Stark (Richard Madden) has yet to receive word of his younger brothers’ murders at the hands of his former best friend in Winterfell. So he can commit his full attention to Lady Talisa (Oona Chaplin), a beautiful noblewoman who has turned her back on her birthright to tend to the wounded on the battlefield. Of course, Robb is trending on dangerous ground considering he’s betrothed to the daughter of a key alley.
"You're marrying her for a bridge," Talisa says.
"An important bridge," Robb clarifies.

First Ten Spoilt Minutes for Teen Wolf 2!

Guess everyone’s been crying and lamenting “Oh teen wolf! How we’ve missed you!” And there you have it, Teen Wolf 2 is here! On June 3, Teen Wolf Season 2 premieres. And suddenly, all of the horror, romance, the juicy, yummy bare chests, the icky gore, and the ridiculously sexy humor we all learned to love in season 1 is everything back on track. It’s back! It’s finally back! And as a bonus to all you Teen Wolf rabid, slobbering fans, here’s the first spoilt 10 minutes of the Teen Wolf Season 2 premiere…. Enjoy!
But hey, it’s not like you should definitely need much incentive to watch this awesome video, but if you however do, get this: in the first 10 minutes, maybe four out of the five major characters on screen take off all their clothes. That would be so exciting so prep up and watch Teen Wolf Season 2 Episode 1: Omega online this coming June 3, 2012.

·         OK, I get how Jackson got a werewolf bite, but how did he end up underwater?
·         Also, it wasn't the full Moon in the Teen Wolf season 1 finale, was it? Maybe this indicates a time jump of some sort...
·         Those are very cool -- if somewhat fake-looking -- birds in the forest.
·         Alison's dad hasn't exactly warmed up to Scott in the off-season.
·         You wouldn't think running on all-fours like that would be so fast. I guess you'd be wrong. At least you'd be wrong when Scott has motivation.
·         Lydia obviously didn't get her intelligence from her dad.
·         Oh Stiles... Don't ever change!
·         The Argents might want to consider putting bars on Alison's windows. You know, if they don't want a werewolf to ravage their daughter on a regular basis.
·         Scott and Alison are very clumsy lovers.
·         Alison is getting very wonderfully snarky this season. This is a positive.
·         I don't like it when black stuff boils up from the drain. It's scary. And generally bad.
·         If you have intimate relations with a vending machine, does it give you free candy?
·         Once, in college, the water in my shower turned a weird color like that. I jumped out quickly instead of fishing around for creepy hair. Lydia might have been better off going that route. On the other hand, my college shower never had a bloody hand reach up to grab me.
·         So Lydia has run out into the night and is making very distinctive screams... OK then...

And that's it. That's all we get for now. Sorry about tantalizing you like that. But you can get more when Teen Wolf season 2 premieres on Sunday, June 3 at 11pm on MTV. Don't be such a fuss and a killjoy rolled into one will you? Tune in and see what's next on Teen Wolf Season 2 Episode 1: Omega online. Better wait for days than lament for ages!

“When we come back, it’s six months after the finale, and you’ll find out more about the A-team. Mona is at Radley Sanitarium where we left her, and you’ll see who’s been visiting her. there are lots of crazy surprises. You will see more connections being made for people you didn’t even know knew each other in Rosewood.”

Gleeks Alert: Everyone Will Be Coming Back to Finale!

Twitter is like this overflowing cornucopia that lends to celebrities and people from all walks of life in order to communicate with stars and fans and even get updates in their projects. But it can also be a curse when it sparks unwanted rumors as Glee star Amber Riley found that out the hard way. Gleeks really thought the actress wasn’t returning to the show next fall when Riley tweeted, “Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I’ve known day in and day out for like three years. I’m going to miss the whole lee family, seeing them every day!” Don't forget about it and watch Glee Season 3 Episode 22: Goodbye this May 22, 2012.
When the show’s creator Ryan Murphy spoke to the press, he has dispelled the gossip. “A lot of people have been writing Dianna Agron off the show. Amber’s off the show – they’re not off the show,” he said. “I think Amber was talking about that bittersweet feeling of, ‘I’ll never be in the choir room with that exact group of people.’… She’s excited about where her character is going. They all are. I wanted to do the right thing by all of them.”
MTV News even caught up with Agron even before the news broke that her character was returning. The actress-directress told us that while she’s just interested in the future of Quinn, she loves that the story line is quite a surprise.
"It's so funny, because I do write, and there was part of me that was like, 'Oh, I know these characters inside and out. What if they gave me a shot to sit in the writer's room and toy away with that?' But at the same time, it's like, 'Idon't want to have any say in that.' I love the surprise element of it."
While fans need to not worry about what’s going to happen to Lea Michele, Cory monteith or Chris Colfer, following reports that the show will like track Rachel, Fin, and Kurt’s New York adventures, it’s just hard not to wonder what’s in store for the glee-club seniors as they graduate on the season finale. With Quinn off to Yale, and Puck headed to California to expand his pool-cleaning business, some characters could get tossed to the side. But Murphy said that he told the actors if they really wanted to stay on the show, he had a place for them – including Matthew Morrison’s Will Schuester and Jane Lynch’s Coach Sue Sylvester. They will all be coming back. Anyone who has been a regular will be coming back.
But he did clarify that they may not come back for the long haul. “It doesn’t mean everyone will be doing 22 episodes, yet everyone wants to stay in our family and our world,” he revealed.   "I wanted to make sure those actors know that if they want to have a home, they have a home. If they want to explore new and different things while also having a home, that is also an option."

'Supernatural' Finale: Jensen Ackles On How Season 7 Ends And What's To Come In Season 8

It will be one good heck of a week for Supernatural fans. Because Friday is the Season 7 finale, and the CW also announced firsthand that next season, the lengthy and strong-standing television series will be moved from its Friday death slot to sluggish yet entertaining Wednesdays, behind the network’s most anticipated newcomer, “Arrow”. And at the CW upfronts presentation in New York this Thursday, Jensen Ackles from Supernatural teased the finale for season 7, which will see the Winchester brothers’ attempt to take down all of the Leviathans – and maybe even Dick Roman for good. “We will find Dean in a situation at the very end of the season that he’s never been in,” Ackles teased Huffpost TV.  Don't forget to keep yourselves posted when you watch Supernatural Season 8 when it comes on to your new time slot within this year.

“Two of the fan favorites find themselves in a massive predicament,” the actor added. “There’s a big attempt to handle the Leviathan situation once and for all. Whether that works or not is yet to be seen. It definitely gives us somewhere to go in Season 8. There’s a lot of loose ends that could get tied up.” But there are still some things that remain untied, which is but a difficult balance Ackles said, “Supernatural” has mastered. “That’s a very delicate process, but  I think it’s something that we’ve been able to accomplish in the past and I have no doubt that we’ll pull off this time as well.
And as for the series’ new timeslot, Ackles just gave the passionate Supernaturalaudience all the credit, and admitted that he thinks it will do the show good.

“It’s a great pat on the back and slap on the wrist that they moved us out of Friday – which by all means, we were just doing fine, it’s just a really tough timeslot. And a lot of times, it can be considered the night that shows go to die. So not only did we not die, we survived and we grew and I think that that’s a big testament to all the fans and how supportive they are and how loud they can be about our show,” Ackles explained. “So now, we’re moved back to mid-week and we paired with another comic in Arrow – I think we really found our legs when we paired with Smallville, and even though Supernatural wasn’t originally a comic, we now have a comic. So the fact that we are going back and getting paired with something of that genre, I think this is only going to do good.”

Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: Why Did "A" Buy Dr. Sullivan's Boots?

She’s crazy, and she had been doing these bitchy tricks all along but hey, what can we do? She’s suffering from mental illness! And one of A’s clues fans were more fixated on before the biggest reveal was the episode tag on Season 2 Episode 6: Never Letting Go, which showed A buying the same boots which Dr. Sullivan had been wearing. And for a while, it even sparked more suspicion that the doctor might also be involved with A. Just keep yourselves posted and watch Pretty Little Liars Season 3 Episode 1: It Happened That night online on June 5, 2012.

But then, Mona was revealed to be the abominable A in the Season 2 finale, and fans were left wondering what the boots were exactly all about. And some clever fans even came up with this theory that Mona has bought the boots as part of the trick that made all of the Liars think that she has buried Sullivan. And now, author and show runner Marlene King has confirmed that those fans are absolutely right.

Recently, a fan asked Marlene, "Will the boots Mona ordered/Maya wore ever come into play?"
Marlene replied, "they were on the Dr Sullivan mannequin Mona buried and PLLs dug up in season 2A finale."

So there you have it, PLL fans. The mystery of the boots put to rest at last. See more of the scandals and controversies which the girls may be up against this time and update yourselves with Pretty Little Liars Season 3 Episode 1: It Happened That Night. Be mesmerized, bite those nails, and keep yourselves entertained with dark secrets and fury only Pretty Little Liars could bring!

LiLo’s Image Rebranding on Glee, Did It Work?

Nothing beats a better comeback than this! Lindsay Lohan will be playing the role of Lindsay Lohan for this week’s Glee episode definitely reminds us that she’s a twelve-time Teen Choice Award nominee and is in full-on “image rebranding mode,” which of course, is why she said yes to do a guest appearance in the Fox musical series in the first place. So how was everything else? Well, after all the hoopla about her appearance in the show, it was a big disappointment to only have her included for such a short time frame. Specifically, the two minutes and 46 seconds required for her to do one big scene with her fellow guest stars Rex Lee and Perez Hilton. Here are some of her, almost amusing lines in the television series. But since you've seen her, check this one out and watch Glee Season 3 Episode 22: Goodbye online this coming May 22, 2012.

Still, she was given a couple of semi-amusing lines.
“I show up here and there isn’t even a red button I can push and a chair that can spin me around where I can then point at a kid onstage and say, ‘I want to work with you’?” she complained in a blatant reference to ”The Voice. “I’m seriously firing my manager.
And she delivered those lines adequately, although, as was the case when she recently hosted “Saturday Night Live,” she didn’t necessarily sell them. She was helped by the fact that she shared screen time with Hilton, who was totally irritating and used every opportunity possible (with an assist from the “Glee” writers) to promote his blog. Then again, a person can never see the words LILO ALERT in a hot-pink, all-caps font nearly enough, can she?
In conclusion, on the “Glee” cameo appearance spectrum, Lohan was not in anything resembling the same league as Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristen Chenoweth, but not nearly as annoying as Perez Hilton. Her image probably hasn’t been rebranded, but it also hasn’t been tarnished either. So ... mission accomplished?

Game of Thrones: Richard Madden on Robb Stark, Adolescent Crush, and Theon’s Betrayal

There had been many of the interesting changes to the characters which were introduced a year ago in Game of Thrones, yet easily one of the most pleasant to just watch the show consume its second season, especially because the hero’s journey taken by the young wolf Robb Stark. Robb Stark is played by Scottish actor Richard Madden, and season 2 began kicking in for the claimed King of the North winning battles and maybe even showing off so far – some shrewd logic, while stashing king’s ransom among his forces, Jaime Lannister. There's more to Game of Thrones Season 2 Episode 9: Blackwater online this coming May 27, 2012.
But exterminating the feisty Lannisters can be an impossible feat for a young man, and viewers recently even saw Robb strike into a couple of conversations with the raven-haired beauty Talisa, the latest of which certainly revealed Robb in the first blush of a crush.
“Hmmm…,” he paused, after AccessHollywood.com asked if there were parallels among the young men. “I think it’s different. With Romeo, he’s kind of, very quickly head over heels and Robb’s got much more kind of reserve there, where he’s never been in a situation with a woman before, where he’s been taken by someone. Whereas I think Romeo [has] kind ofbeen there, he’s fallen in love how many times already…
“Robb’s never been there and he doesn’t know what it is yet. And also, rather than kind of knowing how much he likes this woman at this point, he’s just kind of surprised and intrigued by her, and wants to kind of get to know her, this woman that challenges him, and is a kind of light in the darkness for him,” Richard added. “He’s not taking it all too seriously yet
But as it turns out, the crush may have to wait.
In the previous episode, Robb found out Theon betrayed him, by using a small force to take Winterfell, killing Ser Rodrick and even proclaiming himself Prince Theon. The news, Richard said, is particularly hard for Stark family mom Catelyn, who is now unsure about the whereabouts of two more of her kids Bran and Rickon.
“I think that’s part of him being so alone and then finding this woman, [Talisa], that’s a light in this darkness where she’s real with him and she challenges and pushes him, but she’s also changeable. If you can convince her, then she’ll run with that as well,” he added, hinting at things to come.

Out of the Book and into the Script: Game of Thrones Abridged

See that stunning platinum-blond queen across the war? That’s the dragon queen Daenerys Targaryen. Stay away from her. And everyone she loves dies, or just gets taken away. But honestly, not all fans are happy with where the plot is taking Daenerys. The show is superb, but the liberties taken with Dany in Qarth, this week in particular, feel more needless than ever and damaging to who the character really is. She's a beauty, but she's got more, so don't forget to watch Game of Thrones Season 2 Episode 9: Blackwater online this coming May 27, 2012.
As for the northerners, those guys are having a hard time hanging onto their own heads, don’t they? Ser Rodrick is the latest to die on the chopping block, at the hand of the traitorous Theon Greyjoy, now fancying himself Lord Winterfell and self-proclaimed Prince of the Iron Islands.
Now Jon Snow here has finally met his real match when he gets face to face with a redhead wilding, gorgeous with freckles, Ygritte, who is also a warrior who is more than just prepared to meet her maker should the worst come to pass. And of course, she also values her life greatly ad isn’t at all afraid to make some moves on Jon in order to keep herself safe and warm. Well, for Jon, that’s bad news, because as a member of the Night’s Watch, he isn’t allowed to take a woman into his bed.
And all the way east in rich Qarth, Dany is still unsuccessful in recruiting the city’s leaders to her cause in order to sail to Westeros and claim the Iron throne. To put things bluntly, when the khaleesi returns to her quarters after she failed to secure a fleet, she stumbles upon the members of her khalasar, and her handmaiden, all dead, and her dragons, missing. Nothing of all this happens in the books, and many would have guessed that this one’s a dramatic new way to get Dany to the House of the Undying, where she’ll have a fair share of some really life-altering events. It’s still an unneeded departure, kills more of the characters in Danny’s story even if they survived in the books.
What say you, readers of "Ice and Fire": Are you as bothered by the new changes to Dany's story as I am, or are you not sweating it? Hit us up in the comments below and let us know! Keep yourselves posted and watch Game of Thrones Season 2 Episode 9 online!

Game of Thrones’ Irri Discusses The Old Gods and the New

If you have missed the best of the latest episode of Game of Thrones, don’t worry, we’ll keep you posted. In the mean time, wait and watchGame of Thrones Season 2 Episode 9: Blackwater online when the next episode of the show hits your small screens on May 27, 2012. This one’s going to be a spoiler and a review of the past and next episode so tune in. Dany’s handmaiden Irri, which was played by Amrita Acharia just went through so much. The demise of her one true love, and her undying devotion to her khaleesi, their walk through in the Red Wastes only to die in the dangerous yet beautiful city of Qarth while protecting Dany’s dragons. We got the rare chance to chat with Acharia about how she learned the language of the whole khalasar, and what we’re going to miss from the rest of the books, since originally, she’s alive and kicking.
Everybody’s been dying to know about learning Dothraki. And she says, “Well, I’m multilingual. I learned Norwegian from scratch when I was younger. So for me, it wasn’t as daunting, maybe, as it might be. I found it really exciting. I love a bit of challenge like that. I thought it was fun. It’s an interesting language and it sounds kind of coarse and quite sort of deep. I think they did an amazing job of creating it.”

"In episode six, Irri gets killed off. It's not expected because it doesn't happen in the books. I think some fans might be a bit disappointed because of all the kinky scenes." In the books, Irri becomes Daenerys' lover to keep her from being lonely. "Those aren't going to happen," she laughs. "But I'm sure HBO will make up for it in some other way."

We asked her how she felt when she read the script. "It was a surprise," she says. "It's also a good death scene, so if I'm going to go, it's a good way to go." You don’t have to wait for long so watch Game of Thrones Season 2 online when it graces your small screens.

Scarface Woman: GOT’s Lena Headey Tries Bad Girl Appeal in Dredd

She may play the role of a greedy, lusty, somewhat tyrannical woman in the world ofWesteros, but Lena Headey will be reprising her iron woman aura of an artist when she plays the role of Madeleine ‘Ma-Ma’ Madrigal in Dredd, which has been uncovered in a first look image release by Lionsgate Films. And after being introduced via LA Times Hero Complex, the poster debut shows Headey skipping her Game of Thrones long blond locks and sporting scars all over her face. Don’t worry, she won’t be out of the epic television series and halt her evil deeds so continue to watch Game of Thrones Season 2 online, we still have more to come so just get on with the show.

As she discusses her character Ma-Ma, the British actress said, “She’s a prostitute who then kills her pimp and takes over his drug-running business. And Ma-Ma is a bit of a man-hater.”

Discussing who she got her hands on the character, the 38-year old hottie just simply stated, “I think of her like an old great white shark who is just waiting got someone bigger and stronger to show up and just kill her. She’s ready for it. In fact, she can’t even wait for it to happen. And yet no one can get the job done.”
And for the benefit of everybody, the movie is dark-toned and R-rated, inspired by the comic book Dredd, Headey also added, “The world in the film feels really British. And I don’t know if that’s because it’s so ditsy and dark.”
And if you’ve been missing more on comic book epics, Dredd follows the titular character who is somewhat the most feared judge among other elite Street Judges in Mega City One. He has the authority to enforce the law, sentence offenders and even execute them on the spot if needed.  But anyways, see more of Lena Headey as the vindictive Cersei Lannister when you watch Game of Thrones Season2 Episode 8 online this coming May 20, 2012.

Ladies Love Game of Thrones… Why?

At a glance, the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros are a male-dominated society. Mothers’ daughters are wedded off for political alliance and advantage, and wives who happen to disobey husbands are slapped simply on the face. Terribly heartbreaking and tragic, don’t you think? But we’ve got more than tragedy covered in the television series so go and watch Game of Thrones Season 2 Episode 8 online when it happens on your small screens this coming May 20, 2012.

And despite what actually appears to be some misogynistic message, HBO’s critically acclaimed series, “ Game of Thrones” has also managed to appeal to a large base of women fans. “I could see how men would be more attracted to it. It’s a lot of sex and violence – and there’s a lot of cleavage as well,” Rosanne Stern, a 26-year old English student says. “But a lot of the girls who have seen it – after they got over that, there was a lot of sex and violence – were drawn in as well.”  Stern has faithfully watched the HBO series with her boyfriend. And despite the fact that she believes that it is one of the most well-written series, she’d seen in a long time, Stern still rarely found other female fans who shared her passion for the series before the TV show came out.
Now she’s noticing that men and women alike are reading the books and catching up with the “A Song of Fire and Ice” saga. Part of what Stern feels draws women to the series is the strong female characters such as Daenerys, the khaleesi from the House Targaryen. Another female fan of the show, Diya Chaco also agrees to that. “The women have a lot of control over their actions, more than typical women in fantasy stories,“ she says. And at the very end, what really touches many women’s interest is the universal appeal of the series and a nail-biting plot where no person is safe, and the stronger characters are regardless of gender.

“The characters are very, very well done, and I think that’s what draws women and men anyways.” Stern says. “I haven’t met anyone who watched the show and didn’t like it. Love girl power and watch Game of ThronesSeason 2 online this coming May 20, 2012.
