True Blood Gets New Blood, and Hudis Replaces Ball as Show Runner

When word got out that Alan Ball is getting out from True Blood Saga after the fifth season of the show, fanged fans began to just wonder who would be brave and confident enough to take the reins of the very intimidating and status quo relenting vampire drama series, if, hopefully, the show will still continue for a bigger sixth season. Well, according to Deadline, Mark Hudis who stands as co-executive producer to the show is currently slated for the job and would be promoted to executive producer hyphen show runner for future seasons as part of a total deal he lately signed with HBO. Don't dwell on the past, wait up for this one and watch True Blood Season 5 Episode 1: Turn! Turn! Turn! online this coming June 10, 2012.
Hudis at one time had been a member of the True Blood family for the past Seasons 4 and upcoming 5th, which will blow off your screens this coming June 10. But now that he’ll be given basically unlimited control, it will be more than interesting how his steady influence will impact the rest of the show. Throughout all the years, Hudis had a good hand in so many TV legends, like Nurse Jackie, That ‘70s Show, and the sitcom Cybill.
Here’s what Mark Hudis has to say to his former shows so to speak.

Given that Jackie works at a hospital in New York, there will always be a surplus of cases she is expected to just deal with. And while the other residents of Bon Temps are far from having their medical degrees, they still have to deal with high stakes situations, so it would really be great if Hudis could consistently remain high-powered for the show.
And yes, True Blood usually ends up becoming quite the legit blood bath for pretty Sookie and company, yet the show doesn’t entirely rely on its action-packed scenes alone. Don’t forget shirtless scenes too. True Blood’s characters are nuts and lovable, whether they’re always bad-mouthing like Tara or full of energy and sass like Lafayete. This will also help lighten the mood at times when fans really need it most, so it would be really nice if Hudis would throw in some of that comedic relief That ‘70s Show thrived into. So much for talking, keep yourselves updated with what’s hot and what’s not on True Blood! Just a few more days, we know you're running out of patience and you're quite anxious with the long wait, so don't forget to watch True Blood Season 5 Episode 1 online
